You Will Know Them By Their Fruit

You Will Know Them By Their Fruit

Luke 9:26 says 'If anyone is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.' NewInternational Version (©1984)

To date, of the hundreds of people world wide reading this post, only two have misunderstood the message thinking that invitation to read this post was directed to them personally. Rest assure unless the shoe fits ...nothing personal is intended. Before cutting to the chase ... just keep things in context.

People are prone to adopt labels which best identify with others who they are or what they are about in hopes of attracting like minds or acceptance.

Certain standards are expected or assumed by the label or labels one adopts.

For example, I can't say I am a diplomat or a statesman without evidence to support it ...anymore than I can say I am a 'pundit' or expert on certain subjects.

The Endrun Project Research enjoys various resources as a means to gain the most accurate perspective on many issues ...Twitter is no exception.

The majority of Twitter profiles are teaming with labels and declarations like #TCOT, #GOP, #Libertarian, Christ follower, Conservative, Christian, Patriot, Pundit and even the icons they want to be identified with like #Beck, #GlennBeck ...and the list goes on.

On a side note ...but somewhat interesting ...we have yet to see anyone proclaiming #hypocrite.

From a sampling standpoint, Twitter 'Tweets' can be to a researcher or statistician better than any poll or research study so much so that real time individual and collective behavior and reaction to specific events can be studied as they are unfolding in any municipality, or region of the United States ...even globally ... race, religion, political preference or ideology ...in other words, by knowing what to look for ...the truth.

A researcher can learn a lot about things few people even look for (whether people are who they say they are, walking their talk [sincere], going with the flow, or whether they even know what they are talking about.)

The Endrun Project
learned labels in and of themselves can be dividing at a time when our nation and Humanity itself needs unity. We
[TEP] try to avoid being associated with a label but rather recognized for what we do instead of 'who' we do.

The the very nature of people who base life around labels ...even saying we are Christian or Christ followers would automatically lock us into 'religion' as easily as saying we are 'conservative' would lock us into 'right wing' 'Republicans' or 'Tea Party' what evers ...when in reality we at The Endrun Project are neither religious nor partisan ...as we understand The Bible, neither was Jesus, and obviously not God.

Notwithstanding, we
[TEP] hold the teachings of Christ as intended for anyone claiming to be a Christ follower or Christian to the highest standard, and doers of the fullness of His teachings in reverence and obedience.

Being a 'Christ follower' is understanding who He is and what He's about and living by and doing His teachings and commands not for appearances or acceptance of others but for the right reason which only He knows.

Christ's teachings tell us many things followers should and should not do.

1“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Matthew 7:1-2

We [TEP] see many Twitter folk claiming to be 'Christian' caught up in politics ...outwardly praising certain political icons while bashing, blaming and finger pointing at the ineptitude and corruption in Washington we all agree has to go.

Repeatedly The Endrun Project has said we should be blaming ourselves ...our own apathy and complacency for allowing Washington and states' governments to get out of control in the first place.

Jesus said:

3“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. Matthew 7:3-5

He also says:

21“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Matthew 7:21

43“No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. 44Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from thornbushes, or grapes from briers. 45The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks. Luke 6:43-45

46“Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? Luke 6:46

49 ...the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. Luke 6:49

We find there is not one word in The Bible that Jesus spoke that isn't there for a reason and should be taken very seriously ....nothing for granted or just keeping the warm fuzzy parts ...but all of it.

Be careful what banner you chose to wave without realizing that to The Lord ...talk is cheap.

Sadly ...we witness 'christians'
these days turning their back even on other believers while not following the teachings of Jesus themselves.

'The Bible says ‘The sheep will be separated from the goats.. the sheep at the Right Hand and the goats at the other… There will be talk of peace for Jerusalem, but there will be no peace.’

Despite all the distraction and confusion in Washington, the Middle East, the European Union ...even Russian politics ...nothing should be underestimated or taken for granted.

Whether you see it as religious strife, political strife, racial strife or economic strife ...the separation has begun.

As each day of 2011 passes with unprecedented global events unfolding before their eyes, people world wide ...are searching for answers regarding the future.

Even in the grim midst of evil surrounding Humanity there is absolute hope ...let go of 'conventional wisdom' and open your eyes.

The writing on the wall

Up to now, maybe you haven't cared ...but given that nothing seems to be going in the right direction for America ...maybe it's time to read 'the writing on the wall' ...

If you don't see it God forbid ...maybe you never will.

"He has blinded their eyes and deadened their hearts, so they can neither see with their eyes, nor understand with their hearts, nor turn--and I would heal them." John 12:40 New International Version (©1984)

Prophecy has its purpose in giving people assurance and comfort in One who is in Control ...and failure is NOT an option.

For anyone hoping for a good outcome to arise from these unprecedented times and events ...focusing on being on the right team is important.

Something to think about

Just when things look like it couldn't get any worse (thanks to the 'conventional wisdom' of All the Kings Horses and All the Kings Men) ...God says in 2 Chronicles 7:14; ' ...if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

He who has ears, let him hear... Endrun Project Post: 'November 3, 2010: Now What?'

Like it or not ...this isn't about politics or religion ...nor Israel
alone ...America too is in the cross-hairs. This is about
...a spiritual war against good and evil foretold by the Prophets.

Is this you?

Other than the smell which separates them, like dead fish ...'sheeple' are best known for going with the flow.

God gave us common sense and a conscientious for a reason if we choose not to use them we pay the consequences as we are NOW. If American voters put their faith in media and pundits rather than common sense we will be further divided and finished before the November 2012 elections.

There is a price to pay for this...

3 For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. 5 But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist; 2 Timothy 4, 3-5

But you are not called to be foolish. Stay vigilant ...the picture will become even clearer as events of 2012 continue to unfold.

Watch out that no one deceives you! Matthew 24

ABOUT THE ENDRUN PROJECT AND MISSION

'Christians' and 'Pundits' ...You Will Know Them By Their Fruits by @endrunlv

The 'Endrun' image represents the disparity being felt by so many people ... especially the children who are witnessing events in America and the international community in which they have no voice or control of decisions that are destroying prospects and hope for a secure and prosperous future.

  1. Thanks for reminding me I am supposed to take the middle high ground (Libertarian. I too, tend forget that problems exist on, and emanate from both sides, and it is we, the middle grounders that must find solutions under the guidance of GOD through our Lord Jesus Christ!

I've read excerpts of this report and it bothers me a bit.

  4. I agree with your concerns as well as theirs. However, when man and religions takes God's business into their own wisdom and strength, it does threaten national security. God is not a cowboy as many 'christians' in America appear to think nor does He need any help.

The matter is definitely spiritual (as one will see reading through Endrun Project posts) which calls for Spiritual wisdom not knee jerk politics and religion.

  5. LOL!! I;m sorry but I have to say it!.

I saw the cartoon of the liberal pundit punished, and saw Paul Krugman's as a kid with his QE2 unrealistic economic Theory

Mea culpa, God, but even you punished the merchants in your temple!

  6. God was really punishing the hypocrites ... The 'In Name Only's' including 'christians' and 'pundits' who profess wisdom but fools in God's eyes. [righteousness as filthy rags]

  8. Anonymous: Carrollton, Texas, United States, If your into 'labels' ('postmodernism')and have no nerve beyond 'anonymous' you are more 'fooled' than you realize.

Only one we know in Carrollton, Texas says he's a 'pastor' who Im sure wouldn't be anonymous as an 'ambassador' for God nor negate the very teachings of Jesus.... '...unless the shoe fits.'

Come on, who is this REALLY? Obama? Louis Farrakhan? Rev Wright? Don't be a coward!

  9. hello my friend

I agree with many of your topics only because the are mostly inline with my understandings of the worlds situation and how it correlates with bible prophesy.

I've heard a saying ...that whatever you have fears of the most. Is but a reflection of yourself.

If you are a soldier for Christ then your fears should be few and diminished. One cannot be a soldier for him if one fears the battle. Then you are nothing more the sheep lead to slaughter.
